SHAMOLIMA has been involved in providing Project Support Services in Bangladesh ever since the inception of the company in 1984. SHAMOLIMA has specialised in this sector through our extensive experience of providing professional Consultancy Services, supplying Project Materials, providing Construction and Erection facilities, supplying Oil and Gas field related equipment, Telecommunications equipment and services, and Catering & Housekeeping Services.

We also provide a complete local logistics support service on a "Door to Door" basis for international turnkey projects secured by International/Multinational companies. This service includes the Clearing & Forwarding of project materials through customs at the port of entry, completion of all shipping and port formalities, and also the transportation of materials upto Project Site by either the Railway, the Road network or the Waterways. Any additional Technical support at site is also given after discussion and assessment of the Clients requirements.

We have built-up a core team of professionals in-house who have diversified technical backgrounds, knowledge, and practical experience to provide the depth of expertise in various disciplines to assist in the planning, development and implementation of national and localized projects. Most of our Engineers have long working experience in different Government and semi-government organizations and have hands-on experience in execution of many large projects in the public sector.

We have specialised in the energy sector by absorbing in-house very experienced and senior engineers (ex-top management of government corporations) in both the power and oil and gas sector. These engineers have been inducted into our higher management so that we can manage and implement smoothly large international projects in this very crucial sector for the country. Our company is closely associated with projects from the planning stage.

Further, we regularly handle complete chartered vessels at the Bangladesh port of entry carrying different types of project materials such as Drilling Rigs, Process Plants, Line Pipes, etc and provide all the intermediary services required for final delivery upto Site.

Technical support at site is provided by meeting the Clients requirements for equipment and specialised manpower. A list of available equipment is given in a later section. Specialised technical labour supply such as crane operators, forklift operators, welders, foremen, etc for construction and fabrication activities can also be arranged from our large pool of experienced technical personnel.
